The Blanket Bay campground, located on the Great Ocean Walk, is about 250 metres south of where the Blanket Bay Creek meets the ocean. You can walk/hike into the Blanket Bay campground or drive via the narrow, gravel Blanket Bay Road.
It has 22 unpowered campsites for either tents, camper-trailers, campervans or recreational vehicles. It includes non-flush toilets, picnic tables and shared fireplaces, but you need to bring your own water.
The Blanket Bay camping area is a paid area and requires bookings in advance. We have detailed information including access to a Blanket Bay Camping Map in our Otways Camping Guide.
The Blanket Bay camping area is the only option for Blanket Bay Accommodation in the Bay itself. But there are other non-camping options if you’re willing to drive around 30 minutes away. For all the options visit our Where to Stay page and click ‘Show Map’ to learn more.
