Deans Marsh

Exploring the region will uncover plenty of tales about the efforts of the colonial pioneers of the 1800s. You’ll find some of Australia’s most famous pioneering names associated with them. Today, the towns retain their unique characteristics by catering for visitors from far and wide with comfortable bed and breakfast cottages and an endless supply of local culinary treats.

Following the Otway Harvest Trail is a great way to encounter these charming hinterland towns. Discover the delightful food, wine and craft beer on offer, whilst meeting some of the characters responsible for building the regions sterling reputation.

A must visit for serious winos is the award winning Dinny Goonan Winery located a short drive from Deans Marsh. Visitors are welcome to taste their wines and relax in the peaceful vineyard setting. You can find out more about the wines by talking to Dinny the winemaker, or stroll around the vineyard and winery.

Also neighbouring Deans March is the Gentle Annie Berry Gardens and Farm nestled in the picturesque Pennyroyal Valley. Drop in for a Devonshire tea or get your hands dirty and pick your own berries!
