Birregurra is a charming town with wonderfully restored facades referencing to a rich historical past.  Originally named Bowden’s Point, Birregurra become a thriving town with its railway being the lifeblood of the vast Otways timber industry in the early 1900’s.

Otway Harvest Trail

Birregurra sits in the heart of the Otway Harvest Trail, bubbling with producers and restauranteurs. The Birregurra Market is a must see, held on the second Sunday of each month from November to April where local vendors sell cakes, jewellery, plants, fresh produce, wine, arts & crafts.
