Get away from it all in this extremely tranquil bush retreat. Brand new residence located within 50 acres of one of the few-remaining virgin bush blocks of the area. Drive 30km to Port Campbell and the Great Ocean Road with it’s world class attractions such as the 12 Apostles.
Step off your back step and into 50 acres of untouched bush land. Walk under majestic gums, past native wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos and koalas) or loop around on your mountain bike. The house is architecturally designed to make the most of the natural setting. The living area is open-plan and a deck surrounds three sides of the house.
Ride your mountain bike through the bush land on a track or go bush walking to experience nature. Access to the track by 4WD is available on request.
The hidden jewel of Jancourt is its surprising wealth of native animals and plants, a microcosm of the Australian bush. Waking early, you will be privileged to the morning chorus, as a host of birds flitter through the soaring eucalypts, their musical calls echoing between the trunks. Marvel at the surprising cackle of the laughing Kookaburra, the warble of the ever-present magpie and the light twitter and blue flash of the superb fairy-wren as it bounces through ferns.
