About

This unique property is set on an acre with the Otway Forest as your backdrop. It is the Ideal location for romantic couple stays or small family getaways.

Originally a general store, then the local church from the 1920s, it has now been converted into a stylish, peaceful retreat for up to four people, with two bedrooms on offer. A queen-size bed is situated off the main living area, with a bookcase giving you privacy and zoning you off from the shared living space. A separate second bedroom features a double bed. A fireplace in the lounge room will keep you cosy in winter and split system air-conditioning will allow you to keep your cool in summer.

Only 10 minutes from Colac and 20 minutes to Forrest, everything the Otways have to offer is on your doorstep.

For cyclists, the Old Beechy Rail trail runs right past the door and you’ll find beautiful waterfalls within a half hour’s drive. Sit back, relax and watch the native birdlife in the beautiful native surrounds during the day, or toast some marshmallows at the fire pit area outside whilst admiring the starry sky above in the evening.

Full kitchen amenities are available so you can cook up a storm during your stay, or head out to one of the many great eateries situated not far from The Church.
